Movie name-You ve got mail. Cast-Tom Hanks,Meg Ryan. Genre-Romantic Comedy. Story at a glance- Meg Ryan is the owner of a small bookshop called The Shop Around The Corner,when she gets to know that a guy is opening a bigger bookshop close to hers. In the end she has to close her shop. What she doesnt know though is that the guy she has been chatting with on the internet is the same guy who is responsible for the closing of her shop. Performances-Tom is great in his role as usual and Meg does a great job. Verdict-A sweet movie. Certainly worth a watch. Well more than worth a watch actually. Rating-8.5/10 *

Movie name-Castaway. Cast-Tom Hanks.Director-Robert Zemeckis. Genre-Drama. Story at a glance-When his plane crashes,an executive is left stranded on a deserted island. Away from civilization,he transforms himself physically and emotionally to survive on the island. He talks to a volleyball and also gives him a name(Wilson. Theres a scene where he wakes up and looks at the volleyball and asks it-u still awake?-lol). Performance-Tom is great and does a fantastic job. Verdict-An excellent movie. U should not miss it. Rating-9/10. *

Movie Name-Catch Me If You Can. Cast-Leonardo Dicaprio,Tom Hanks. Director-Steven Spielberg. Story at a glance-True story about Frank Abagnale Jr. who before his 19th birthday,successfully conned millions of dollars worth of cheques as a Pan Am pilot,doctor and legal prosecutor. Performances-Leo fits the role of Frank Abagnale Jr. perfectly. Tom is great as the cop. Verdict-Catch it if you can. Rating-8/10. *

Annie Reed,who is about to marry her fiance Walter soon,hears about Sam and decides to meet him. Performance-Tom is superb as Sam. Verdict-Watch it,its a great movie. Rating-7/10. *

Story at a glance-Defence lawyers,Kaffee and Galloway are assigned the case of defending two US soldiers,accused of murdering a fellow soldier,who was deemed to have broken the code. Performances-Tom Cruise gives one of his best performances and Demi is great as well. Jack is superb as the colonel. Verdict- Dont miss it. Rating-9/10. *

His life takes a dramtic twist when he spontaneously proposes to a waitress,Katie and she accepts. Performances-Jason and Isla are cute as Anderson and Katie. Verdict-Sweet movie,worth a watch. Performances- Owen and Vince is funny. Rachel and Isla is great. Verdict- Its good and worth a watch certainly. Rating- 7/10. *

Story at a glance-Adam Sandler is the lowly water boy for a college football team,until the coach discovers his amazing talent for tackling people much bigger than him. He signs the water boy as the new star player. Performances-Adam is great as the water boy. Kathy is great as his mother. Verdict- good movie. Dont miss it. Rating-8/10. *

Movie name-The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring. Cast- Elijah Wood,Sean Astin,Ian Mckellen,Viggo Mortenson,Sean Benn,John Rhys Davies. (everyone is so good u cant leave anybody out.). Director-Peter Jackson. Music-Howard S . Genre-Fantasy. Story at a glance- A young hobbit Frodo Baggins inherits a ring of terrible power and sets out on a journey to destroy it along with 8 others. The group is known as the Fellowship of the Ring. They face many difficulties along with the way and get separated in the end also losing two of their company. Performances- Everybody is excellent in their roles. You cant find a fault in this movie. Verdict- The opening musical score gives you goosebumps whenever it is played. Its a mammoth movie with all kinds of creatures,war scenes. Peter Jackson deserves most of the credit for the movie.You have to watch it. Rating- 10/10. *

Movie name-The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers. Cast-Elijah Wood,Sean Astin,Ian Mckellen,Viggo Mortenson,Orlando Bloom,John Rhys Davies,Andy Serkis (as Gollum). Director-Peter Jackson. Music-Howard S . Genre-Fantasy,Adventure. Story at a glance- After they split,Frodo and Sam continue on their journey to Mordor aided by Gollum. Aragorn,Legolas and Gimli go to Rohan. Merry and Pippin meet Treebeard(shepherd of tree) Performances- Again everybody does a fine job. Special mention of Andy Serkis cos he had to do all the movements and expressions for the computer generated Gollum. Pity he didnt get nominated for the role. Verdict-The 2nd best movie in the trilogy. Loads of splendid war scenes,creatures. Loved the Nazgul. The music is awesome especially during the march of the Ents. An excellent movie. Rating-10/10. *

Director-Peter Jackson. Music-Howard S . Genre-Fantasy,Adventure. Story at a glance-The former Fellowship of the Ring prepare for the final battle for Middle Earth,while Frodo and Sam approach Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring. Performances- Elijah is excellent as Frodo,Sean is great as Sam,Ian is superb as Gandalf,Viggo carries off Aragorn with dignity. Orlando,John,Bernard,Dominic,Billy are awesome. Andy does a d*mn good job as Gollum. Verdict- This movie won 11 Academy awards that says it all. More creatures,more war scenes,more adventure. The war scenes give you goosebumps. The music is out of the world. The best movie of the trilogy. Rating-10/10. *

Movie name-Rocknrolla. Cast-Gerard Butler,Mark Strong,Tom Wilkinson,Thandie Newton. Director-Guy Ritchie. Story at a glance-When a deal goes wrong,the citys thugs and gangsters fight to claim their share in the deal. Amidst the fights,the son of a gangster arrives after being presumed dead for years. The story revolves around a painting. Performances- Gerard is great in his role. Mark does a fine job. Tom is good. Verdict-Its a cheeky Guy Ritchie movie, u dont get to see the painting at all. The music is catchy. Rating-8.5/10. *

Story at a glance-A romantic about a Chicago librarian with a gene that causes him to involuntarily time travel and the complications it creates for his marriage. Performances-Eric is good in his role. He is one of the underrated actors in hollywood. Rachel is great in her role as well. Verdict-A novel kind of movie. Worth a watch. Rating-8/10. *

Story at a glance-Four kids travel through a wardrobe to the mystical land called Narnia. They learn of their destiny to free Narnia from an evil witch with the guidance of a mystical lion,Aslan. Performances-Tilda is great as The White Witch aka Jadis, William is great as Peter,the others do a great job as well. Verdict-Adapted from one of the best fantasy book series ever,its an awesome movie. The books are in fact better than The Lord of the Rings books. The movie shouldnt be missed. Rating-10/10. *

Story at a glance-The Triwizard Tournament is about to begin. Students must be over 17 to enter,with the winner receiving eternal glory. However,Harry find himself unwittingly being selected as a contestant even after him being 14 years old. Performances-Daniel is convincing as Harry,Emma is awesome as usual,Rupert does a good job,Ralph is menacing as Lord Voldemort. Verdict-Its the best of the books and also the best of the movies.Watch it but it would be better if u watched the previous movies of the series. Rating-10/10. *

Performances-Hugh and Drew have a great chemistry and they do a great job. Verdict-Sweet,funny movie. Worth a watch. Rating-8/10. *

Story at a glance-Horton a fat,giant elephant(Jim Carrey) finds a world on speck called the Whoville and promises the mayor of Whoville(Steve Carrell) to take the speck to a safer place. Performances-Jim Carrey n Steve Carrell have done a great voiceover job. Both are funny n bring life to their characters Verdict-the movies has got a line which says-a person is a person no matter how small.- its certainly a great movie n should not be missed. Story at a glance-Mike O Donnell (Mathew Perry) finds himself turned into his 17 year old self again (Zac Efron) after a funny incident n the movie shows how he tries to get his family back again. Performances-Zac does a fine job as the 17 year old Mike and the rest of the cast chip in with good performances as well. Verdict-Its a fun,light hearted movie. Rating-8/10. *
